We had our brake controller mounted just to the right of the steering wheel on the bottom side of the dash, it is easy to get to and out of the way of your leg or knee. Goose

Welcome! We have towed using Jeeps, a Liberty (popup) and the latest, a Commander (22ft Hi-Lo). We didn't have any problems. I'm sure your Grand will be just fine. Hopefully you have the V8 and a tranny cooler (if it came with the trailer tow package from Jeep then it will have the cooler). You will also need a brake controller (we like Prodigy), and a weight distribution system. We used one that had both weight distributing and sway control, called the Equalizer. It works but it was kind of a bear to hitch/unhitch.
