Does anyone have a problem with condensation on the rear window of the 177 to the point it drips all over the bed and really gets it wet. Checked window and it does not leak. Need some advice.

HI gremar, we also have a 177 and have no problem with condensation.  We always leave the bathroom fan lid open day and night, and at night we crack open a window a little also.  If you do a lot of cooking or showers ( we don't use our shower, always use campsite facilities) and don't turn on the bathroom fan you will have a lot of moisture in the trailer.  From the sounds of it you have more than a condensation problem.  Did you try running a water hose along the outside of the window to see if there is a leak?  Also check out seals around your AC, etc on your roof, you never know where the leak is coming from.  Good luck .

When we first bought our 171 we experienced the same problem and took it back to the dealer thinking the rear window was leaking water from it raining at that time. We have learned as has been said in previous post open the vent or a window to let fresh less humid air into the camper.    David

We live with a window cracked and the fantastic fan on low.. At night with 2 big dogs and 2 adults.. we would have moisture issues if we didn't.

The only times we have had condensation on our back window is when the outside temps were below 45 and we kept all windows closed.  As the above posts mentioned, keeping a window slightly cracked open should alleviate this issue; as it did for us.

+1, the pod is fairly tight so keeping a window or 2 and/or the vent cracked open is a must if you are boondocking.  Using the A/C or vent fan if you have hookups works fine too.

Yup, winner winner, the answer is to keep a window cracked a bit and perhaps your fan on if temperatures are suitable.

Before we knew this I woke up with wet pillows and feet many mornings.

+1 to all the above ... we learned this lesson fairly quickly and now keep window(s) and bathroom vent cracked or open depending on the weather.

It is a common occurrence with the R Pod. They are air tight and don't breath well without some help. Cooking on the stove, taking a shower, and even your breath all contribute to high humidity inside. easy fix. open the bath vent about one inch, set on lowest fan setting, crack one or two windows about 1/2 inch. Problem solved. In spring or early summer before we have to use a/c Donna and I will crack the window on the head end of the short queen (RP-172) about 1/4 or 1/2 inch, turn the bath fan on low and that little fan will pull air across you and out the top taking the moisture with it. If its too cool outside try the foot end of the bed only. that little fan does a wonderful job of moving air in the fairly tight R Pod. The fan noise is low and kind of nice to sleep to.

This is another good time to turn on the bathroom vent fan by the way, since there is no other exhaust vent over the stove.  Someone else (forgive me for not remembering) had told me about this a few months ago and it works really well.
