I'm looking for recommendations on a good, reasonably priced 12V AGM battery with at least 100AH. This will be for a dual setup.

If you are going dual battery from the get-go, and not using the "included" battery.. think about going 6v instead, dual 6v's giv as much as 40% more aH's...

I was thinking about redundancy with a 12V setup. If one 12V fails, I'll still have usable 12V backup. If I do consider 6V. What are good AGM 6V batteries? There is also the issue of weight. I don't want to add too much on the hitch if it can be avoided with a dual setup.

No reason to go with AGM, unless you are mounting the batteries inside the camper.  They are much more expensive without any additional capacity for the equivalent size.  AGMs do have an advantage of a lower self-discharge rate, but as long as you can charge your battery once a month (the minimum necessary for a flooded lead-acid), the extra cost doesn't give you any advantage there, either.

Whether you go with two 12 volt or two 6 volt batteries, its best to use them together to take advantage of the "Peukert effect", which basically gives you a few bonus amps.  And it is best to use two 6 volt batteries in series since it avoids some issues you get with paralleled batts.

I'll be storing the rpod at a storage facility so I thought I'd go with agm for the no maintenance feature. Thanks for the info. I have some thinking to do ;)

Another option is to take the battery home with you between trips to keep it charged.  Also prevents theft at the storage facility.
