Just want to introduce myself, have been lurking for a couple of weeks...I currently have a 2003 Coleman Bayside pop-up that I am getting ready to trade for a 2013 177.  Can't wait.

I really liked the Bayside, have had it for 2 years but out of the 6 times I used it it was raining 4 times as I struck camp.  What a mess it is closing up and then reopening at home to dry out the tent.  Also, cranking the top up is really hard on my shoulders as I get older Ouch

Anyway, I look forward to making friends and acquaintances on this forum and sharing stories and mod ideas.

Wink

You will definitely enjoy the the Pod a lot more. I do not miss all the stooping and bending to get at stuff in the pop-up nor do I miss the setup and teardown.

The nice thing about the R-Pod is that on the rare occasion that we pull into a camp site in the rain or
drizzle, Joyce and the pups can go directly from the TV to the 'Pod, and I, hero that I am, can have the
'Pod disconnected from the TV, leveled, hooked up to elec. and water, jacks down, and inside for a waiting
beverage in less than 20 minutes.  And if it is not raining too bad, I have even been known to erect the
R-Dome first!
