We are a family of three ... husband of 30+ years, me, and our teenage daughter, now a college student.  We have been camping in Missouri for several years now in our 171 r-pod and we tow with a Ford Ranger pickup truck.  We usually put our r-dome up and use that too.  Often, we bring our border collie along for the fun.  We live in the KC area on the Missouri side.

P.S.  Sometimes my husband will likely log in as me and post ... you have been warned.  LOL

Our TV works fine, Crane.  We don't generally do big hills or mountains, though!  We just stick fairly close to home.  :)

I might also mention that we try not to overload the truck or r-pod.  We always take a 2nd vehicle and load most of our gear in there.  We like taking two vehicles since we stick close to home.  :)
