Sounds like a great trip.  We were just there this summer, along all of the Gulf coast states to New Mexico, and then the states just above them on the way back.  We hit the UFO museum but not the art museum  As a space junkie I would have liked the Goddard exibit.

Thanks for the heat/fan info.  We went to Roswell to see the UFO museum and the art museum.  We had heard really good things about the art museum.  It was very interesting because besides art there was a huge exhibit on Robert Goddard and his early experiments with rocket technology.  We then went through Ruidoso and down to Las Cruces.  We spent 2 days there visiting a friend.  Unfortunately we had to haul butt back across Texas.  We have to catch a plane from the east coast on the 1st.  If all goes well, I will "retire" in March, and we can then do leisurely trips.

Welcome, glad you had a good 1st trip. Set your fan control on the thermostat to "AU", that will keep it from coming on in heat mode.

We picked up our 178 last Thursday and headed out for New Mexico.  We just returned to Louisiana this afternoon.  We had a very fun, but way too short, trip.  For the most part the pod was great.  A few little issues, like the a/c came on when we turned on the furnace.  Confused   I've read the threads about the kitchen size and am ready to start figuring out how to stow things.  We did not see another Pod the entire trip.  We sure had a lot of people asking questions about it.  I am having trouble posting photos, but will keep trying.  Looking forward to some rallies next year.
