I just ordered a new R178 and I'm in the process of fitting a WDH for it.

Does anyone know the approximate coupler height above the ground for a R178 with the axel risers installed?

Thanks

You really can't set the hitch up until you have the trailer, but top of the ball height should be around 18" if I remember correctly.

That's either correct for a pod.. or an Airstream.. 50/50 chance. Wink

BTW, it takes only a couple minutes to adjust ball height on our WDH, 'cause we have to do it when we switch back and forth. Only two bolts.

I just ran out to check my ball height and it was a hair under 20 inches to the top, and we do have the axle risers on our R178. I haven't checked for level while hitched on a level parking lot but it should be close.Smile

My 2014 178 is just a tad over 20 inches.

That height is with factory-installed risers.

Just bought a 178 last weekend with 3in risers.   Top of ball was 20-21in before coupling.
