As we're getting closer to actually CAMPING in our r-pod, more questions are bubbling to the surface. I know the shower curtain covers the back and the door in the 178 but do I need to caulk at the bottom of the walls where the walls meet the pan?? The dealer said that we shouldn't as the pan goes up the sides so no water can leak out but just wanted everyone's opinion. Should I caulk anywhere ELSE in the shower?? Thanks!!

I can't remember if there is a bead of caulk at the top of the pan on mine - we've been nailed so many times with heavy snow this year I haven't been in the pod in a while.  I don't see why you couldn't.

One place to check that I had to improve on was the caulk around the water line that runs to the toilet.  Mine had none and the water line was tilted towards the wall, so the water would run down the line, into the wall and then across the floor.  Caulk around the hole in the wall solved that.

We have never used our shower, but the way the prices are going in the public showers we will start to use the shower in the pod. I will install a shower curtain that goes all around, take a shower take the curtain off and put it on the cloth line to dry. no need to wipe down the walls. Curtain gets washed when we get home.
If you want something done right, do it yourself.

You'll still want to check that wall penetration.  The curtain in mine covers 2 walls including the one with the water line, but the water line of course dips under the curtain.
