We were driving past a RV dealer in Ontario Canada that had a number of Palominis seductively lined up by the entrance and thought we saw someone trade in one of the hybrid r.pod models.  So a few hours later on our drive back past the same dealer we stopped in to be nosey and to look at the Palominis.  The Palominis just didn't look any better than a r.pod in person nor on paper, having no back window and much smaller tanks.  While the 176T r.pod was traded in just like we thought we saw, it was traded in for a 5th wheel to go FT and not for any of the Palominis.

But then we saw it, a small Evergreen RV.  Possibly the smallest Evergreen RV we had seen to date.  Our local RV dealer sells the premium Evergreen Element line and we fell in love with both the sleek interior and exterior finish of the line but those averaged in the mid to upper 20s in size plus were $$.

So this is what caught our eye, a 20' Evergreen Ascend 171 (not as fancy nor as $$ as the Element line).  It has all the right boxes checked: back window, dry bath and decent sized tanks (W35 G29 B29). There are extra bonuses such as a separate freezer (ice cream!), an exhaust vent for the stove, an outside shower, tiny wardrobe, double propane tanks, extra skylights and a 10ft awning.  Best of all it was just at the 20' limit we promised ourselves and the price was close to that of a r.pod upgrade. Wink

We're not ready to trade in our 152 yet but maybe this for the future? It has the back window, tank capacity and dry bath on our wish list and is within the right size and price.

Does anyone have an experience with Evergreen RVs?

I like the dry bath and partial walk-around queen, whoever is in the rear slot could just slide out in the middle of the night.  Pods could do the same if they would just make it as wide as the axle.  I like the 191RD, too, with the full walk-around queen and the separate shower.  That would help speed things up in the morning.
