Bought a new 178 a year ago and still have not received all of the items that are clearly listed on their sales brochure, on the equipment list attached to the trailer and their website.
We contacted the Alberta RV Dealer Association and they were very helpful in getting some of the issues dealt with.
We spoke to Forest River directly and they contradicted the lies that Rangeland RV was perpetrating. FR was helpful in getting a few things straightened out.
Rangeland's walk-through person knew less about the RPod than we did. He told us that we were "good to go" after we hooked up the RPod to our truck. Luckily one of the service guys was driving by and noticed that our hitch was too high. He was helpful as was the parts manager in getting the correct hitch equipment.
This has been an unnecessarily prolonged and petty process. I could fill pages with details of our experience, which is well documented. If anyone is considering dealing with Rangeland RV in Calgary, I can provide you with names and more details. It was a bad experience.
On our maiden voyage we ran into difficulty with our hot water heater. We stopped at another RPod dealer and received outstanding service. (arbutus RV in Nanaimo BC)
Arbutus not only fixed our hot water heater, they properly setup our electric brake controller. Two things that Rangeland had failed to do properly.
