Hey y'all!Had a great experience choosing and getting a extensive walk-through for the RV we wanted - a 2015 179 - b
t Hey, my husband convinced me not to be such a bi&+h and edit out the details All is well but resolving the incorrect DMV report was left up to me and took many hours. Bought the RV policy at the end. Will cost another $100/year but covers when the trailer won't be attached. Thanks again, Gina |

I have Allstate for home and auto. Added our 2015 178 to the auto policy for $118 a year with collision and comp with a $250 deductible.

I added my campers to my auto policy for about the amount Buxmont mentioned.
As for financing, check out every credit union, bank, etc you have access to.

Same here, we added to our auto and pay $115.00 for comp/collision.
A typical situation? Don't know, we don't shop financing or insurance with dealers.

Thanks for your responses. Nice to have confirmation that we can cut the cost of insurance in half. Sad that Coastal never mentioned using our existing policies. Whose interests are tops there? Not the newbie buyers.

Welcome, I covered our POD with a separate policy through our car insurer. Home owners covers the trailer at home, adding to the auto policy covers when it is hooked to the car and may not cover it unhooked in a campground or storage place. Every policy and company is different so check with your agent to see what might work for you. Goose
