LOL big boom.  For those that haven't heard the story yet, that is my foot in the lower-right corner.  That big pile of coals in front of it (which are outside of the fire ring) are sitting on brand new concrete.  Just after Yak took that picture a pocket of air or water hit the breaking point right under where the 2 vertical logs are touching the ground.  Nothing was left outside of the fire ring.  That whole pile of coals was gone.  Yet while people were crowded all around that fire nothing landed on anyone.  Including me even though I was 18 inches in front of it.
