Calendar Event: 178 Dinette/Bed Make up Posted: 15 Jan 2016 at 2:01pm |
I'm sure everyone has come up with some really creative idea, but I've been a little stumped as to what to do with the backrest corner cushions on the dinette when we make up the bed at night. I can't fit them all under the folded down table when we make up the bed. I don't like leaving them in front of the door at night in case of an emergency. What is everyone else doing with them?

We took them out of the pod altogether, as we found them similarly in the way. Recovered some usable space.

We had a similar issue with our 176. I loved the corner cushions for watching TV or just snuggling in the corner, but at bedtime I was sticking them in the dome, under the trailer or in my tow vehicle. Others encouraged me to leave them at home. I now have 4 bed pillows that I stuff in the corners that work almost as good as the corner bolsters and at night we have a selection of pillows to choose from.

I think if I had this problem, I would suspend them in some type of netting over the bed.

We never remove them. We can't. Henry, the cat, considers the corners his favorite perches. Kinda like a thrown. Guests don't like it, they sleep under the dome. It's just the way it is.
