I have a 2003 Prerunner Taco and a 2010 171 Pod. The Pod came with a cheap EZ friction sway bar which works well. I noticed substantial sway one day but learned I needed to tighten up the sway bar a little more. The truck came with a hitch receiver already which is not a Weight distribution type. If I were starting over I would get a weight distribution hitch as the "porpoising"....
if that is a word...is noticeable. The friction bar is cheap and worth trying out if you already have a hitch.
Will not help with the roller coaster feeling you get.
