I thought mount poop only appears in the black water tank.

As I'm planning and preparing for this rally, I'm curious about the drinking water.  Normally I don't carry much water until I arrive, but looking around, I haven't seen where it is advised to load up near the park. Sanidumps lists the park water as questionable.   Thoughts?  Responses?

Fresh water-

I bring my own from home but that is because I live nearby and don't mind pulling it that short distance.
If you are coming from Oregon, you will most likely be going through McCloud, their water is good there and I would not have an issue using it if you find a place to fill there, but it is a long distance to haul still. The water at the CG is at the dump station, far enough away from the dumps to not be an issue. People use it last year with no issues. I would just spray the Howe and nozzle really well with a chlorine solution and flush the hose for a good 3-5 minutes before I used it to fill my tank. I plan on using it while I am there for toilets and dishes, and using the CG for showers.

Thanks for the response.  That answers my question.  See you there!

SmileSmileSmileSmile I'm so sorry that I missed this year. right now my cancer is in check (decreasing in size}. I have decided not to sell the Pod at this time. Just short trips. Have a great time at "Pods in the Pines".
