Good afternoon all! I have some questions about
this R-pod and I figure this is the best place to start.
We have begun renting travel trailers and RV's through RV share
recently. This gives us an opportunity to try several different things before
we purchase. In two weeks we will be renting our first R-pod. It is a 2010 173
model. I have a 6500 watt generator with a 4 prong NEMA twist lock. pretty much
everything we have ever seen has a standard 3 prong 30 amp twist lock shore
power hook up that allows us to hook up the generator.
Here is my problem, the first time I lay eyes on this R-pod will
be the day I pick it up for the weekend. I keep seeing postings about charging
the batteries. Do these units have a standard shore power hook up? Is there a
proprietary cable specific only to these R-pods? I have the large adapter to go
from a 30 amp 3 prong to my 4 prong, but do I need to purchase the 30 amp to 15
amp for a standard household plug?
Any help or photos of the hook ups and the cords needed would be much appreciated.
Thank you in advance, and I hope y'all are having a great weekend!!
