Stabilizer Jacks

The back left stabilizer on the Pod seems to have been bent by the previous owner...not so much that it is non functional but enough that the foot tilts at a slight angle going down but then seems to self adjust and rests well on our plastic platforms. I pulled the stabilizer back a little to straighten it out and it seems to plant better. Am I in bounds with this tweak?

All of my rear stabilizers came with pre bent jack screws from the previous owner. I straightened them out, but was not impressed with the thin quality of the ones FR uses.

A few weeks later I was in one of those closeout type stores and they had a bunch if camper products. I picked up two much better made 4500lb ones for $25ea and installed them on the rear. I tossed the old ones in the scrap pile.

The fronts are safe for now, but if I find another "deal" I'll replace them too.

Btw, they are spot welded to the frame, so you will need a side grinder to get them off.

Agreed.

Almost 5 years with Save-a-Jacks, no bent stabilizers, no replacements.
