We just bought a used 2009 r-Pod 172 and it didn't have the rear and fender lighting work done as required by the recall.  Worked with Forest River Warranty and the dealer (Toscano RV Center in CA) and they both have been very helpful and cooperative in getting the parts ordered and the work scheduled.

Kudos to Danielle and Susan at FR for helping from the manufacturer's end, also to Dave and the service people at Toscano.

Hopefully the installation will go well.

The service folks at Toscano RV in Los Banos, CA did the recall work.  They made a small error in the installation that caused a short and I lost my tail & clearance lights on the way home to NV while crossing the Sierra Nevada mountains.  We parked for the night and got an early start the next day and made it home in plenty of time to open our business.

I called them when I got home and we agreed that I should take it to a local NV shop to trace the problem.  Toscano was absolutely superb in following up and taking care of the situation.  They are reimbursing me in full for the cost of the local shop and were super nice about it.  I have to say it isn't often you find this kind of integrity.  They're good people.  Especially, their warranty guy, Bobby.

We took ours to a forest river dealer. Call first to make sure they will do it and I think they may have to order the part from forest river

Have started this process for our 2011 175. Call FR first. They will have you send or fax proof of ownership. They will send you documents to give dealer. Dealer will order parts. THEN, you set an appointment to have it installed.

My 2010 172 - had the fender lights installed before I got it.  I noticed that the wire for one light goes over the track for the RDOME Skirt.  Had to cut it into pieces because you can't slide the keder past the wire.

They are all that way. The skirt is a generic fit, so based on floor plan, owners have to cut for the steps, and axle.
