Hey everyone.  We've only had our 2017 171 for a few months and we're also kind of new here.

Due to the cold weather lately, we've been running the heater pretty regularly at night.  We boondocked in someone's driveway for 3 nights and they told us today that after we left there was a pink puddle in the driveway after we left.

This is tricky because I haven't actually seen it.  For all I know it could have been anything, not even caused by us.

But is there anything pink in the Rpod that could have leaked?  The only thing I can think of is that our last RV, a Tab, used pink propylene glycol as a heating fluid, and we've been running the heater essentially for the first time.

In the meantime I'll keep an eye out in our new location, but any insights would be appreciated.

Your low point drains could be dripping some antifreeze.
If you want something done right, do it yourself.

99.999999% answer is winterization anti freeze dripping, most probably from the low point drains.

So is it OK that it's dripping out like that?

I bought it in November from a dealership in Tampa, so it's not like winterizing is a big concern there.  Would they have winterized it at the factory before shipping it?

And is there anything I need to do about it?

It would be nice to know where it's leaking from, just in case.. but the anti freeze is non toxic.

and yes, if shipping in the fall or winter the factory does winterize them.

If the RV anti freeze is leaking, there are a couple of likely places to check.

The 2 HOT and COLD low point drains have caps. Each cap has a rubber gasket, just like a garden hose would. If the gasket got lost, they caps by themselves might leak.

The hot water tank. If someone didn't empty and bypass the HW tank before winterizing, it's possible there's antifreeze in it, and the tank drain plug/anode rod is not tight, it could leak.

An auto coolant leak!! Someones vehicle may have left some coolant behind. Some of them ARE pink (Volkswagen G12 coolant comes to mind).
