What rpod does your family member have, I am wondering if it will fit our rpod 179. Look forward to hearing from you.

Tbh I have no idea. Their rpod was totaled in a tornado a little over a year ago. I'll check with them and try to find out what model they had.

I just ordered a new RDome for my RPod 180, Model Year 2016 1/2 and the number for the dome is 747GRN13.202  The dealer did not pay attention to the number and bought me a 747GRN13.000, it was totally the wrong.

I believe the 179 and 180 share the same RDome.  The last 3 digits are important.  GRN is green (BLC is Blue), 13 is the length.  There are also 2 sizes of channels or "Keeder Rails" that the "bead" is pulled through, The smaller Keeder rail is typically on older models and new ones have bigger 1/2" with 5/16" opening.

Hope this helps.

Bob
