The above the sink storage compartment has room to make it much deeper.  The 182 G has very little inside kitchen storage....Yes, I realize the outside has lots but I try not to venture out there in my PJs to make hubbie breakfast!LOL

I have "deepend" 3 pods cabinets with that configuration. Not difficult at all. About 12 inches deep will keep you out of trouble with the cooktop.

Thanks.   I may find a handy builder guy to do it for me, as I am practiced at messing things up! The dinette ends have already been pulled out and wood split after just the first month or so...He may have a fix for that too!  Thanks for your reply!

It would really be nice if the door(s) for the overhead kitchen storage went across the full cabinet.  Also, since the wall covering is textured, it's impossible to use stick on hooks.  A couple of sturdy hooks and maybe a very small towel rack would sure be nice to cut down on counter clutter.  I'd love to have a good hook under the tv near the door to hand small grocery bags for trash.
