In searching the internet for slide out lube I came across the YouTube video showing using baby powder for slide out lube, has anyone done this? I'm going to try it tonight as the lube is twenty bucks and I have a baby powder can sitting at home. I'll post my results.. I have all the storage door seals sticking and I'm sure the slide seals need it as well. Good thing my wife was scared of using the powder with talc in it!

I have no clue about the suitability of using baby powder for a lube. However, I think that the gears on a slide out would be a perfect application for some dry graphite lubrication. Graphite would provide a low-friction lubrication without attracting any dust or other gunk that an oil-based lubricant would.

Here is a link as to what I am referring to:       https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=X701hbSO_ko

The powder is just for the rubber seals, not any mechanical parts.

A few years ago the guys that do maintenance on our hot tub gave us some samples of " https://www.amazon.com/303-30306-Protectant-Plastic-Fiberglass/dp/B000XBCURW - 303 Aerospace Protectant ". This stuff works great, and it has kept the cover on our hot tub protected for several years.

I love the 303 products but your basic can of cheap silicone spray does just great for your foam and rubber seals all over your Pod.
