I am a new buyer of the R-Pod. I am picking mine up at Couches RV nation. I have nothing as far as sheets twoels or other needed items. Where does one go to outfit their new travel trailer?

Big smile Welcome to the pod. You can find most of what you'll need at Wal Mart. They have a good supply of RV items and most of the other items you'd need such as sheets etc.. Also RV stores such as Camping World.

Make a list of what you think you will need:

Cooking
Cleaning
Bedding.....you get the idea.  A lot of the stuff you should get just for the Pod so you don't have to take stuff from the house to the Pod and back again.  Wal-mart will have most of what you will need.  Go on line and see if you have a Camping World near you.  They have just about everything.  Usually at a higher price than Wally World.  One nice thing to get is a night light!

Keep it simple and look for light weight cookware or nesting cookware.  I also have the silicone measuring spoons and cups that collapse.  Same for a dish drainer.  Just start with the basics and then see what you need or want after that.
Enjoy!

We went from a 30' camper down to the Rpod.  We had the 30' camper at a seasonal spot for 5 years so needless to say there was a lot of stuff in the camper.  We went through a lot of stuff and took only what we thought we needed or would use.  Now we are going through it again and taking more stuff out (Really do we need 6 coffee mugs when just 2 of camp?).  Try camping with it and look at what do you REALLY need to make camping great and then just get that.

Welcome.   Try to keep things simple and small.  We keep 2 types of tin foil (non-stick & heavy duty) You can use it for a lot of cooking, it's easy clean up, and you'll need less pans.  Coffee filters can be use for a number of things to help save space.  After you have camped a few times you'll know what you can live with or without.  You can use regular sheets and modify them a bit to make beds easier to make.  When using towels, try to find ones that are thinner, they dry faster.  Check out some of the mods for more ideas.  After you have camped and have a question....just post it on the forum and you'll get your answers.
