We spent 5 days in the Jasper Arkansas area. Really rough country. Dozens of hiking trails and when it say moderate, it is the upper end of moderate. Beautiful river and bluffs. Boxley valley has elk. Early morning & just before dark. Jasper has a restaurant that is on the National Register. You have to eat there.

Dogwood Springs RV site is an older site but not many available in the area. Has sewer, water, electrical & cable. Ice and fire wood available. A great base camp site for tripping in the area. Tyler Bend is a great campsite but no electrical. The National Park site.
