Does anyone know the sink dimensions of a 2017 R-pod 179?  Went camping this weekend and realized I want a bucket that fits in the sink.  I didn't have a tape measure with me, and now my pod is snug under its cover in storage for a couple of weeks.

I'm hoping someone might know these dimensions, or have their pod close by them. That would save me a 30 to 40 minute round trip to measure the sink.

Thanks for the info!  That should help.  Is that the interior of the sink?  Or the dimensions of the counter cutout opening?

I see you got your answer, just curious what the purpose of the bucket will be (we have a 2017 179 also). I bought an RV dish pan from Camco that fits EXACTLY in our kitchen sink. I strive to remove food from dishes but just in case, prefer using a dish pan. Plus it allows me to dump the water down the toilet (after double checking for any food scraps) and therefore into the black water tank instead of the gray water tank. Depending on where we're camping, I can dump it at an outside faucet/sink area that's for that purpose. On our own property, I just throw dish water onto our dirt road. For greasy foods like bacon, etc., we use paper plates so that's not a concern. Let me know if you want the info on the dish pan. Or maybe you specifically want a bucket for other reasons ... about which I'm curious in case the rest of us here can benefit from your ideas Smile Thank you!

On our trip, we met someone with a new 179. It had the undermount sink. Be careful how much you put in the sink while traveling. Theirs had broken loose because he had a gallon jug of water (8+ lbs) in it. The one I put in is top-mount. Even so, I don't put more than a dish rack and not much else.

Good tip - thanks! Also, I don't even keep the sink cover on while travelling even though it's flush with the counter. If it somehow went flying off there is just enough heft to it I think it might mar something. Hope those Podders didn't have a terrible time getting everything put back together. I'm reminded of that expression, "if you can't be a good example, at least be an effective warning".
