Hello, we have a 2016 179 R-Pod.  On the second day of our vacation, the slider failed to open.  No sounds of connectivity.  After checking the fuses, calling Forest River, dealer and checking the R-Pod Forums, we found out that we needed to reset the two slide out motors.  Unfortunately, the motor is in the seat of the slide out which is covered by the slide out when it's in.

Does anyone know how to access the motors to reset with the slide out closed?  The Schwintek motor does not accommodate a crank.

In this case do we need to take our R-Pod in for repair?

Suggestions are appreciated!

The motors are at the top of the sides of the slide if you can go to YouTube and watch the video on moving a stuck Schwintec slide.

Thank you for the Flow Chart.  Looking at the chart, it seems like we will have to take it in for repair.  There is no power to the motor and the control box to reset is inaccessible.  All fuses are good, I'm hoping that all we need to do is reset the motors.

Thank you for your help.

Greetings:

A electronic controller is located under the refrigerator.  Check for loose wires.  Also check out the video as mentioned elsewhere.   This is something the dealer never tells you about.
