With our national nonprofit partner, the http://www.nationalparks.org/ - National Park Foundation , we are making a special inivitation to http://www.nationalparks.org/explore/?fa=national-park-week - Share a Park, and Shape a Life by helping a young person experience the parks and plant the seed of stewardship. Also, Saturday, April 24, is http://www.nps.gov/learn/juniorranger.htm - National Junior Ranger Day , and children can take part in kid-friendly activities and earn their very own junior ranger patch! So come on out! On the 17th. I will be in Ocala National Forest here in Florida. It's the furthest south of all the National Forests. My locale Jeep club, Matanzas Jeep Club, is have a poker run to benefit The Wheelers For The Wounded organization. We raise money to help pay for a weekend of off roading for our wounded troops from Iraq & Afghanistan. So I'll be working instead of playing.
