POWER JACK SUDDENLY STOPPED WORKING ON MY 2017 RPOD 178.  CHECKED ALL THE FUSES AND THEY ARE OK. PLUGGED INTO SHORE.
HAD TO USE MY CAR JACK TO GET HITCH OFF THE VAN.
ANYONE? HELP?

Shore power has nothing to do with jack. Mine has a circuit breaker in line between battery and jack. It runs off the battery. Is your battery charged? Is that CB closed? I have years of performance from power jack, but possible something happened.

There may be a fuse in the line from the power jack to the positive side of the battery. Some models have fuses and some have CBs. Have you checked for this fuse?

Greetings

On the top of the jack should be a small cover.  You can take the cover off and manually operate the jack with a handle that you should have been provided with.

If the fuse or circuit breaker is good, check the grounding of the jack. It could be there is enough corrosion to prevent a good ground connection. Usually, the grounding is through the three bolts that hold the jack to the frame. You may need to loosen them. For safety sake, do this only when there is no pressure on the jack. Hitching it to the vehicle is probably the easiest way to take the pressure off. Once each bolt is loosened, take a small wire brush and clean around each one so bare metal is visible for the bolt to tighten back down. That will help ensure you get a good ground connection.

The tongue jack is wired directly to the battery. There is an inline fuse, check that. Also, as noted above, it has manual back up.

Here's a troubleshooting path to try. A bit involved but it may give you a clue. Some power jacks have a built in light with a separate switch. If yours does turn on the light. If the light illuminates the fuse or circuit breaker is good and the connections are not broken. While watching the light press the jack extend/retract button. If the jack fails to operate but the light stays on the jack is defective. If the light goes out there is a bad connection at the battery or fuse or ground. Check and clean all connections including ground as noted by StephenH. If the light never illuminates the fuse/CB is blown or a connection has broken.
