Kind of hard to find things in the pitch black of night or trying to hold a flashlight and do something that requires both hands so you holding the flashlight under your arm or between your legs. I purchased a light that looks like a light switch and runs on batteries. Its pretty bright and does the job, you can Velcro it to the inside wall or use 2 small screws. I prefer the Velcro as to I do not like putting any hole that are not necessary into my pod.

Would you share the details on the lights?  They sound like a good idea for the storage bins. Thanks

You can purchase the lights he is referring to at Harbor Freight for $2.99 when they're on sale.

I did something a little different but using car parts I had in shop. I mounted a retractable service light from the 90s GM products inside my right rear storage door, I used the solar plug and a fused pigtail to power it. The light extends 16 feet. and has a LED bulb. I can move it to all my tires, underneath pod and to all my outside storage doors (178). It's a 12 volt auto service light. I wasn't concerned about the front of pod, I have a light there. Works great, no batteries and its rugged. Pics available if anyone is interested.

We use under cabinet LED lights that recharge by USB and are magnetized to a strip so that they can be moved around or taken off to recharge.  they are small but very bright

We also put in motion activated nightlights so that when we get up in the middle of the night we can see where we are going.

Better late than never.   (?)

I find a simple headlamp to be extremely useful and 'hands free'.

Simple and very general purpose, as in late-night trips to the state park bathroom.
