The pigtail on my trailer came loose and the wires dragged on the ground almost breaking it into two. Is this an easy replacement? Is there a junction box on my 180 to connect it too? I see 8 foot pigtails available on Amazon.

Wanda, I take it you mean the 7 pin trailer connector. No there is not a junction box. It is wired into the trailer, primarily at roadside front. Some wiring capability will be necessary.

No jbox that I'm aware of but it would be great to have one for future troubleshooting purposes. You could get one of these and some ring terminals, cut off the existing cable behind the break, and wire it in.

Wanda, FYI here is the way your trailer is wired, use the RV standard connector pic.

Putting in a junction box is a good idea since this is the second time it has happened. Thanks for the suggestion.

Wanda,

How is that happening? I have never dragged or damaged a pigtail. Not being rude. I have a receptacle that holds my trailer connecter attached to the A frame. If you are moving the trailer without the connector attached something odd is happening. IMHO.

It was originally set up fine, but it had to go to back to the factory and I guess the driver who returned it needed more length and undid where it was being held up. I was not aware of that and it dragged. The dealer repaired it and put on a long pigtail that came loose from the tongue and dragged. If I do it my self, I can make it the exact length I need.
