After adding a 3.5" lift kit to our 177 I added a double step to make it easier to enter and exit.  Last summer I purchased the Stromburg Carlson SMFP 2100 double step.  Cost with shipping was just over a hundred dollars.  Took me about 2.25 hours to take off the original and then install the new one.  Front holes lined up but the rear ones had to be enlarged to make it so it could be bolted on correctly.  Definitely use a floor jack or have someone with you to hold up the double step while installing to make the job easier.

I have the FLEXCO steps, make sure you order right width and they also require some hole modification. Didn't take me long to remove single step, enlarge holes and install double step. Good mod.

Looks like Stomberg Carlson and Flexco are the same company. Just to be sure, did both of you get the SMFP2100 (24 inch double, 8 inch rise)?

I bought mine from etrailer, I measured my single step and got a compatible dual step. I did have to elongate two holes as I recall. There wasn't as many choices on etrailer.
