Just picked up our new 179 on Friday.

Disappointed that there’s no owners manual.

Has anyone by chance assembled something equivalent to an Owner’s Manual over the years?

As the old saying goes, the only really stupid question is the one you forgot to ask!

Thanks much in advance!

It's online:

Select year, then 'travel trailers', then 'r-pod'.

That's new, I think. It looks to be very generic, and maybe a first-cut effort.

I say this because under Leveling Jacks Operation, paragraph 2 starts with "Since your unit has two axles"

Whoops.

Oops....I dunno, maybe there is that tandem axle option for the r-pod?

There is also a reference in that section to hydraulic leveling jacks.

Huh?

Confused

See this link:

You will find probably the best RPod Owner's Manual specific to RPods and not generic there.

Basically there is no owners manual for any RV.  This was explained to me once because a TT is a collection of items that change frequently. So the manuals are very generic basic information only. This forum has the best information put together which is better than a manual.  We downloaded all of the factory appliance manuals, printed them and keep them in a binder in the RV.  So when the slideout gets stuck we know to look for the box with the reset button, when the electric jack stops working we know where the fuse is located, etc etc,
