I ordered one soon after I brought my r-pod home, I have only installed it once, here at home, to make sure I knew how to do it....I'm looking forward to using it for real...

I've have one and used it several times over the last two years. No issues with it, works fine.

We have a similar "visor" without the aluminum poles that came with our Pod along with an R-Dome.  We've used it several times and it provides adequate shade at the door and along the starboard side of the trailer.  The slide part started to fail and tear, but I repaired it using self adhesive sail repair cloth which my wife then sewed to reinforce it.  Now it's practically as good as new.

It works well in calm conditions, but once a stiff breeze starts up, it needs to be taken down to avoid damage

I'm currently camped at Oasis State Park. It's a very small park just north of Portales.

Quiet, nice little pond for fishing...also hiking trails. Lots of trees, and I'm in the non-reservation section... plenty of room...cmon down!

I am thinking about purchasing one of these PahaQue visors for my 2015 178 pod, but will it limit my main front door from opening 180 degrees?  And I am assuming it will also limit the ability for my front storage lift up door to work properly?  I have never seen a photo with the visor installed on a 178 model.  It looks like the aluminum support bars would get in the way of the two doors mentioned above.

If anyone has input it would be appreciated.

thank you.

We have a Paha visor for our 2014, 177. It is easier to put up with two people. No issues with it.

We used the "visor" a number of times on our 2016 182G HRE.  Once when 'twas too windy & rainy to deploy the rDome.  I tossed a line over the visor fore and aft to tie it down.  It had flipped over the top of the trailer before I did that.  Visor tie downs were not enough. Other times there were too many trees and bushes for the 'dome.  Did a good job of sheltering the door and enough shade for 2 chairs when not raining sideways.  The wind did help damage one of the pole segments.  Repaired by winding with heavy thread bedded in Duco cement.  Seemed to hold up ok.  It's gone now as our 195 an awning Big smile.  Have fun out there!
