I'm 99% sure I know the answer here, but since I don't want to blow up my R-Pod, I hope someone can reassure me.

I got a little "Nexgrill" 2-burner grill to connect to the LP quick connect on the A-frame of the R-Pod. I selected this grill because the regulator is easily removed, since the quick connect on the R-Pod is already regulated. I can just get a hose with a quick connect at one end and the screw on connector at the other.

Except I was looking at the instructions of the Nexgrill (I have no idea why I bothered doing this) and it clearly says "NEVER attempt to attach this grill to the self-contained LP gas system of a camper trailer or motor home."

Are they just being extra careful to make sure nobody tries to connect it to an unregulated system?

Apparently they're worried about using an incorrect regulator:

"The gas pressure regulator provided with this appliance must be used. This regulator is equipped with the required orifice and is set for the required outlet pressure for this appliance. This combination of orifice size and pressure regulation specifications provides the cooking performance intended by the manufacturer. Substitution of regulator for any other device is dangerous and could result in serious injury."

If you're concerned you could put a tee fitting on the high pressure side of you trailer propane system and use the regulator that came with the grill. The other advantage of this is that you could use the grill with a separate propane cylinder whenever you wanted to use it farther away from the trailer.
