(1) Can the holding tanks indicator lights be adjusted to more accurately show how much is in the respective tanks? My 2018 R179 will show 1/3 full with the almost the first first gal., of liquid then remain on 1/3 after draining the tank.

Not to my knowledge, they are historically inaccurate, and should only be used as an estimate.

Essentially, they don't work so you should learn how deal with tank levels without them.  It's not hard.  The potable tank holds 30 gallons as do the grey and black tanks, so you can't fill them without coming up with more potable water.  This assumes you have no hookups.  If you have a water hookup but not sewer you can get in trouble.  Worst case, you'll see the level of the black tank when you hold the toilet valve open and the grey tank will start backing up into the shower.

The sensors for the lights get coated with junk.  Sometimes you can clean them for a moment, but you can never know when they quit again.

The LED sensor lights, including the battery indicator, are essentially worthless but they may be good for mood lighting LOL
