Hello all, new owner of a barely used 2019 R-Pod 191 here! It's a welcome upgrade to our current teardrop because you can stand up...LOL We bought it from a private seller.

Just got it home and already have a question...I was locking it up last night and I noticed the inside radio lights and the USB charger light still on. Searched everywhere for a main 12V cutoff switch to turn off all the power so the battery won't drain dead. I could not find one anywhere.

Is there a main cutoff switch for the 12v and where would it be? Better question might be if there isn't one, why not? I ended up disconnecting the battery just because it was late and I would figure it out today.

From what I have researched so far it appears there isnt one...any help? Thanks! -W

There was another person asking the same question about battery cut-off. No, it does not come with one. They are easy to install. I installed one for the Pb-Acid batteries I used to have and then just relocated it for the new LiFePO4 battery I installed (see my mods for pictures). You are right to disconnect the battery if it is not going to be plugged in. The LP/CO detector is another constant draw and the battery will be drawn down by the constant draws. If it is plugged in, the converter will provide a float charge to keep the battery going, but unplugged,  the battery does need to be disconnected. Even so, Pb-A batteries need to be charged periodically because they will self-discharge. If it isn't sealed, the electrolyte level needs to be checked and distilled water added if needed also.

Welcome and congratulations on your R-Pod. We have enjoyed our 179 very much and I hope you get many years of enjoyment out of your 191.
