Hello all,
I've been getting ready for retirement by weekend camping in my 2017 180.  Just about the perfect man cave/camper (for me anyway).  I've added a Zamp 180 watt panel, a 1500 watt pure sine wave inverter,  and a Wilderness RV Montana Hybrid Mattress (firm).  Some of you may consider it sacrilegious, but the dinette has been removed and in its place is a recliner.  Much more comfortable than those benches.

I think the best mod to date has been the installation of a Network RV Soft Start SSRV3T which allows operation of the AC with just a Honda eu2000i.  Living in the desert SW, remote camping is my favorite thing to do, and now I've just expanded my camping season into at least early summer.

As I travel around, I always keep my eye peeled for other R Pods, they seem to pulled along by some of the nicest people.  Its a great little camper, hope to see some of you out there in the great outdoors!

I have the Micro-Air EasyStart, which does the same thing for my Generac iX2000. While the iX2000 would start the AC, it struggled. With the EasyStart, it does make a difference. The price (non-sale) is the same for both. The only differences I saw is that the Micro-Air EasyStart is UL listed and the warranty is for two years compared with one year for the Network RVSoft Start. The current sale price of $249 on the Network RV Soft Startdoes make it a bit more attractive. For me, the EasyStart has enabled me to not have to purchase a larger, heavier generator.
