On the tongue of  our 2010 RP-171, I have created a dual valve manifold on the discharge side of a single stage regulator. On those valves are 2 -12' hoses connecting to a Coleman stove and grill. However, the LP flow is too low; only one appliance manages to light and even then the flame is too anemic to cook anything. The response I'm looking for is for the tank to supply what I ask for; to operate the camper and the stoves fully on demand. Does anyone have any ideas? Dual stage regulator? Shorter hoses? Anything else? Thank you all in advance!Smile

You are having issues because you are regulating the pressure at the tank AND at the appliance.

You should either:

(1) Bypass the regulator on each of those portable appliances, OR,

(2) Carry and attach a separate 20# tank with a 'Y' or a 'T' to the lines leading to those cooking appliances.

The first answer I provided is not the preferred method, but included for completeness.

The second answer is the easiest, safest solution.

Option (3) is to use the little one pound bottles as nature (and Coleman) intended!

As Podwerkz  said your double regulating. move your splitter(dual valve manifold) to be before the pod supply regulator and then you should be good to go.

Oh there's an option....number 4!

Didn't even think of that one....

But it does add to my opinion that the accessory LP port on these r-pods is almost worthless.

Yes it would have been nice to put the quick connections for propane accessories before the regulator.
But I guess some of the QCs are located in the rear of some of the pods which would mean multiple gas lines.
I have a 190 and am planning to add a second unregulated line 'option 4' :)
