I'm in the middle of tearing down and rebuilding the inside of my rpod after some extreme water damage (see other postings....long story).

I'm looking at recaulking the seams, and had 2 questions.

Does anyone have any tips?!  Those  trim pieces are so slight, my technique I've used in other places caulking wont' work.  Normally I'm used to caulking on an inside angle, or at least where there is a more significant dip in the area than an 1/8".  I've yet to do this part, but wondering how the  factory people do them.

Second, I've taken off one side of the trim on the bottom completely on the side of the fridge, to help with the drying process since I can't get to the floor there.  Underneath the trim, there is a sticky soft substance (reminds me of the stuff you hang posters with on a wall), that I'm guessing helps keep the water out also.  I saw on one thread a factory person said it was even more important than the caulk.

What is this called?

Thank you rpod owners!
