Hi friends,
We had a great big land clearing fire and apparently it was too close to our R Dome. I have a few small holes where sparks got to it. Anyway, I am going to order a tent patching kit and wondered if anybody had any advice. Thanks ------------- Mitch and Laurie Carter.... Still rolling.... |

I have patched lots of tents-not necessarily the Rdome. but it is similar. Most tent repair tape has adhesive on one side-that is preferred over tape that requires separate glue. clean the area well with denatured/rubbing alcohol and let it dry. Lay the material out flat.If possible, patch both sides. press down hard and rub it with a roller or some similar object-make sure the patch is well stuck.
