Just purchased a 2021 196 and now assembling the towing equipment. Has anyone measured the height of the coupler when the r-pod 196 is level behind the tow vehicle? Or here's another way to ask the question: When the r-pod is level, how high off the ground is the bottom of the hitch ball?

I believe it's 19 - 20 inches. Not positive, but I think that's right.

Your tow vehicle is likely to have a bit of 'squat' when hitched...so you may have to add an inch or two.

Ideally it is good to have a 1" drop in front to reduce sway. We have 1.5" drop on ours, our setup is such that we cannot get an even 1" drop and did not want to go to 2".
