Been lurking and learning from the site for the past few months (what a wealth of information) and had a question concerning the sealant used around the luggage doors and other inlets.  I have a leaking black flush inlet that I am replacing and need to reseal around the edge.  The seal used from the factory doesn’t seam like dicor, but it could very well be.  Also has a nice “finished” look like they used caulk finishing tool.

Thanks for the help

There are two types of Dicor. One is self-leveling, meant for flat surfaces like roofs. The other is non-sag which is meant for vertical surfaces. You need the non-sag for that job or some other equivalent.

Excellent.  I have both and resealed the roof seals and used the non leveling dicor on the spoiler and screws.

Thank you
