We have a 2015 179 and have owned it for 6 years. Last trip after it rained for a while we had water coming down the inside channel of the slide out on the front of the slide. I have looked at the outside rubber gaskets and nothing seems torn or out of place. I generally treat the rubber twice a year with a spray to keep it flexible. Not sure if this was a one off. After we were home it rained the next day and no leaks.
any suggestions on where to look for opening? Could water follow the track to the inside of camper?

One time we had a similar situation with our 177.  Culprit was a tiny twig that was just under the top gasket enough to slightly lift the gasket up allowing water to enter.  The gasket was maybe 1/16" up off the slide but up enough to allow water to enter.  The twig was about 2 inches long and quite small.  After that if we are ever under trees we check our slide after bringing in and check the top for debris.  Never happened since.  The 177 is now 10 years old.

We have a 178 and had a similar problem when the rain was on an angle toward the side of the slide out, the water could ride the rail of the slide out and get past the seal there.  It helps if you make sure you are perfectly level or slightly off level in such a way that the water will “ride the rail” away from the trailer
Hope this is helpful

Thanks for that tip.
We have been home for a week with several hard rains and no leaks so I think it was a one-off with a seal or something similar.
