Hi Everyone. We have a 2019 Rpod 176 and I am working on removing the bathroom sink. I have seen all the other posts about doing this, but our pipes seem different. They appear to be glued together as opposed to having those screw on connections. Any tips on how to get these removed besides just cutting it and using pvc glue with a cap? I was trying to get it to turn, but was worried about breaking the main pipe it is connected to. I tried putting a hair dryer to it, but that didn't do anything.    |

Probably best to just cut it and glue on a cap. You'll never get the fittings to come off the pipe. There is a tool to cut the pipe out of the fitting, but in your case, if you're going to cap it off anyway, it's hardly worth the effort to try to salvage the pipe fittings. ------------- Never leave footprints behind. A hair dryer probably does not get hot enough to do the job. A heat gun does. I have taken apart some fittings using a heat gun. | Okay, thank you. I was hoping I would just be able to swing the pipe up and screw on a cap, but looks like I'll just have to cut it and figure out some other kind of cap. |

You might be able to go thru the panel under the shower floor and cut & cap the pipe? |
