Big smile My husband and I are the proud new owners of a  181G and are anxious to get it onto the road. We can't leave until June 23 and are planning our first trip from Florida. We will be traveling north to possibly as far as Maine but at least to CT to spend time with our grandkids. We have to be back to Florida by the end of August and hope to see fellow R Podders on the road and possibly at one of the upcoming rallys.

See you on the road

Welcome Renee and Phil!
We would recommend you try a weekend or at least a campout in the driveway before going on your long trip. We  found we had a few bugs to work out and things to learn.
Take a few pictures on that trip!

Welcome.  If you haven't seen it yet, we have a 'pod get-together planned for Ogunquit, ME at Dixon's campground in August.  We already planned on being there for a family reunion from the 10th through the 14th.

Ourpad, you got the party pod!  Hope you enjoy it a lot.  I looked at a 181G and it had lots of floor space and I liked the wardrobe, too.  But I decided on the 177 - wanted the dinette so I could play cards or games with the grandkids if it rains.

We bought the 181 because it is a party machine.
A few of our friends have joined us at night in the rear of our pad with the mood lights on and the music going right in our driveway. The corner dining table is small but I am bringing along a folding tray table and several packs of cards. I'm hoping for more clear weather than rain but whatever Mother Nature provides us we hopefully will be prepared.
I can't wait to begin the journey.
