Just bought an 2011 R-177 at Economy RVS in Southern Maryland, took it out for its maiden voyage over Memorial Day with only a few small issues.  Had a blast, more room in it than you think.

Just took it back up to the dealer to fix the entry step, which sheared the studs and nearly threw me underneath the wagon....not that I'm petite or nuthin', but really?  Also had a small issue with the LH burner not burning through the stove diffuser, but from underneath, and a few small "attention to detail" sealant issues.....but overall, I'm havin' a blast!

Light enough to haul behind my 2008 Rubicon 2dr too!  Oh yeah, my wife Tammy loves it too!  I wonder if I can claim this thing as a marital aide?

Turned lots of heads at the local campground, no one had seen one before...shoulda charged admission!

Lookin' forward to meeting some of y'all on the road!  When's the next east coast pod-in?

Tank sends.....

We also did our maiden voyage with our new 177 Memorial Day weekend. Hope you love yours as much as we love ours. We won't be making any east coast Pod rally's but if you want to come to the upper Midwest we'll get together.

Just made my first trip in the 177, too.  And like you, I just love it!  So much easier than a pop-up.  Enjoy podding arround!

Welcome!  There is a thread around here about a NE get-together.  I was already going to be at a family reunion August 10-14 in Ogunquit, ME and I think others here are going to piggy-back onto that for a roundup.  We still are waffling on the campground, I hope to have an answer tomorrow.

I see you've discovered that 'pods lead to tours and meeting your camping neighbors.  Its happened to all of us!  Feel free to post a review of your dealer in the Dealer Review section.

Cool, a local!  I'd say welcome, but you were here first.  I don't have mine yet (leaving to pick it up tonight) but we bought a 176 from RV Nation.  I've got a 550 mile drive ahead of me after work tonight to go get it.

I'm glad I found your post though, that gives me two more things to check out when I get there before I leave with it.  What do you think of it otherwise?  Still happy?

Fishtail, a shame you are going so far, the dealer I bought from in southern PA sold to me (and someone else here) within a few hundred of the Ohio dealer's price.

Where in Southern PA?  I didn't search that far for dealerships, I just looked around MD and VA.  The local dealer here was way more than Ohio, so I just made the trip.  I read all the stuff about the two different forums, and understand that place may not be the most popular here, and the salesmen were very.."salesmany", but the guys in the shop doing my walk through were great.  They did well by me, and I enjoyed the trip, so I'm not upset I made the trek.

Since that was the best deal you found I don't hold it against you for buying there!  Wink  I just hated knowing you were going all that way when you could have gone closer.  We bought from Stoltsfus RV

Cool, I was just thinking there might be some bad blood between this forum and that place.  While I didn't mind the drive at all, a shorter drive would have been fine with me.  Especially considering it cost me about 300 bucks in gas to make that trip.  I have some more questions for you about that place though, but I'll take it to PM's.  I've hijacked enough of this thread.
