We were told 90# when we purchased ours. Bought a torque wrench to check them periodically but after a month on the Gulf Coast and 4,000 miles I never had one loosen and I checked several times during the trip. Am I saying you shouldn't check them?...absolutely not! Just want to reassure that it isn't a huge problem, at least in my case.

Our Pod has stickers right above the wheel wells that say 100ft/lbs.  Perhaps different on other models possibly?
I've torqued ours before and after a long road trip, and at the beginning of the season.

After loosening the lug nuts for any reason, you do need to retorque them several times before they lock in place.  Once that happens they usually stay there.

When I had our Pod in storage I had them pack the bearings and check over the brakes.  Its about a 50 mile trip home, and I checked when I got home, then again after 525 miles to the camp ground a week ago Monday.  I will check again tomorrow when doing a couple of little things to get ready for the next trip.  I have never had one loose.
