Welcome Alaska-Lady. Do you have a specific question about dual batteries?
In general it is best to go with two 6 volt deep cycle batteries (golf cart batteries) wired in series, than with two 12 volt batteries wired in parallel. Without getting technical, they will charge and discharge more evenly over time.
