Soon-to-be owners of a new 178!  We'll be traveling around this summer after picking it up in Ohio.  Look forward to all the helpful info and this and the other site.  Since we're totally new to RV's, we are very thankful for the wealth of information we've already gathered!

Welcome and safe, happy travels.

We love our 177, so you should really love the extra room of your 178.  The little detail I really like is the
outside storage access to the space under the settee.  Great spot for hitch components and set-up gear.
If not for the fear of cutting out some critical frame component, I would add a marine "inspection port"
type of panel to our 177.

going from tenting straight to a Pod is the easiest thing you'll ever do.  we did it 3 years ago and have never looked back!

We're excited for the adventure...only a bit nervous about towing something, but a little practice and we'll be fine, I'm sure! We'll see how sharp the learning curve is and may even do a little dry camping by the end of the summer, once we get back west. Many places of beauty without hookups:)

For Sale....2013 RPod 178. Only used for one trip to Crystal River, Fl. Nothing wrong with the RPod, we are older and in Crystal River we decided we want to spend Jan, Feb and Mar in Crystal River and not tow something around the country. So we are selling the 178 and plan to buy a 35 footer that will stay in Florida. We were there only a week and (there are 3 of us..our handicapped adult son lives with us) realized to stay for an extended time we will need more space. Our 178 includes an RDome which has not even been opened. We bought the extended 5 year warranty which can be transferred or we'll reduce the price and get a prorated refund, buyer's choice. We are asking $14,000 with the warranty or $13,000 without. Call me at 513-678-7384 or email at tango287@roadrunner.com.  I hope I have not offended any rules by posting this here. Email or call for pics.
Thanks, Tom

No rules broken, but you should repost this over in the for sale section for better visibility.
