I spotted a pod today at Road America in Elkhart Lake Wisconsin. We were watching the Vintage Car road races and towards the end of the event a pod was leaving the grounds. Any one of this group?

2009-10 RP172 camped along with us at Dakota Ridge RV Park, Golden Colo. Sept. 14-15. Colo tags

Two Pods lost among all these $250K 6 and 8 wheeled beasts. We could fit in the basements of these rigs!

Camp on..........................

I have told it here before, but in Colorado a big rig pulled in next to us overnight. I was out early in the morning and the rig's owner told me that when he pulled in and saw our Pod he laughed. Then he looked it up on the internet and he was impressed. "You have everything in that little thing" he said.

During our last night at Dakota Ridge, Golden, CO, a third Pod pulled in. 2013 or 14 RP182G with Texas tags. THREE pods in on campground! Still lost among the 6-8 wheeled beasts. Crummy as it is I get a lot better gas mileage than they do.

Hello Keith-N-Dar I believe you spotted us leaving Elkhart. We are from Eastern PA and were on our way home from a three week trip to Montana. We also spotted a Pod while in a rest area in South Dakota. New to fourm and have enjoyed reading it this week. Trip was great and the pod performed well with the exception of the microwave door release handle cracking. ( Could have been thar 40 mile stretch of dirt road into camp.) Kelly n Linda

Hope you enjoyed the vintage weekend at Elkhart Lake!  My brother and I would go to the races at the airport in Santa Barbara, California and see many of the same cars race.  Reminds me of my misspent youth.  It will be with the Pod next year I think.

We met another couple over the Columbus Day weekend in Goshen, MA. They had a 176T  and get this -- NO DOG. I thought dogs were mandatory. They just got it this year and have done a 2 week stint dry camping in the Adirondacks. They're from Western Mass.
BTW - the heater was nice this weekend.

We were camping at Road America over the weekend of Sep. 6th. This is the 3rd year we've gone over the vintage weekend. Not sure if you may have seen us, we pulled out around 3:00 PM Sunday. Always a good weekend. Didn't see any other podders camping there. We camped with a number of streamers.

We were on turn 3 across the track from the Corvette Corral and did see you. We were not camping, but just may next year. We are from Mayville, just down the road from you.

We were camping in Jacksonville, FL this past week.  When we got back late one night, there was a pod parked right next to our pod!  He was from Oklahoma and we had a nice talk the next day.  Easy to start up a conversation when you know you have a common interest...rPods!

Keith & Dar: Perhaps we'll see u there next year. We try to get to a number of different turns when we go and watch the spinouts. The car show at the Osthoff is pretty nice to go see also. We've had the 171 about 4.5 years now but mainly use it for in-state travel. As usual, we start out the year by planning a number of trips but things come up and didn't get out much. We will be at Kohler-Andrae State Park next year for about a week and half over the 4th of July. We always enjoy it there. If the planets align we'll try to meet up with you and fellow podders camping next year.

We would like that. Our go to place is the campgrounds on Washington Island. In state we have also enjoyed Hartmans Creek State Park and several county parks. We try and go west every few years and next summer may be the year.

In mid September 2013 we were in Door County Wisconsin at Peninsula State Park and had 3 pods on one row of our campground (Tenninsen Bay). When we got our pod in 2011 and in all our travels we didn't see 2 pods in the same state that whole year!

Oh, I love Door County! We camped up there in our tent trailer several years back. Would love to get there with the Pod!
